Styk

The project Styk depicts interaction between the nature and a human. The series presents relationship between unprocessed by a human environment and physical and natural developments in the field of architecture, infrastructure and urban planning.  

In my pictures I present spaces located in the center of Warsaw, which are paradoxically extracted from the metropolitan tissue. In these abandoned areas, the nature takes over. 

The project captures the moment of  contact between the two worlds – from untouched initial condition, through coexistence phase, to progressive  regaining the space by the nature.
